Italy has the highest concentration of art masterpieces in the world, a pleasant climate, a vast array of natural wonders and world famous cuisine and wines: all these tourist attractions make of Italy one of the international favorite travel destination.

Italy is served by an inexpensive and rather efficient rail road system and many international airports scattered throughout the territory: this makes it easy to reach by plane every specific area of the country.

The main international Italian airport is Leonardo da Vinci in Rome, known locally as Fiumicino. A fast and convenient train links the airport to the city and the train station.

Some charter flights and low fares airlines like Easyjet and Ryanair use the other international Rome airport, Ciampino. From there the passengers can reach the city, the rail station and Fiumicino airport with buses and trains.

The other main Italian city, Milan, serves Northern area with two airports: Linate and Malpensa. Malpensa is rather far from the city, but both airports have good train and bus connections to the city.

Clicking on the map below you’ll find more accurate information's about Rome, Milan and other main airports.
