San Benedetto is a well known resort for beach vacation Italy. The beautiful sea front bordered by palm trees stretches for miles. The fine white sand calls for long walks and castle construction. You can have a nap without worrying too much about the children: the water is shallow and the seaside slopes gently , making it safe for kids and non swimmers. Most hotels are just across the road from the seashore and will include the beach facilities (sun umbrellas and chairs) in the deal. The boardwalk is alive until late at night and offers a great opportunity for some relaxing biking. Recently was opened a “pista ciclabile”, biking path that goes for miles, is bordered by theme gardens and connects San Benedetto to Grottammare.
