Le Marche region offers the perfect setting for biking tours in Italy thanks to the mild climate and the interesting landscape. Gabicce and Monte San Bartolo, on the Romagna border of Le Marche, are a biker’s paradise: during Easter is taken over by bikers for the Settimana Cicloturistica Internazionale. This week long event attracts enthusiastic bikers from all over the world with mass rides, competition and the possibility to discover countless new routes that touch the scenic points of the area. From San Benedetto to Cupra Marittima, was opened the Pista Ciclabile (biking track), a long stretch of road bordering the sea, dedicated to the biking enthusiasts. The road is decorated with gardens each dedicated to a different environment or specific plant: palm, roses, desert, rain forest and Mediterranean plants are all represented. Another of the favorite spots of cycle enthusiasts is the Monte Conero coast, a favorite area for bikers for the beauty of the landscape and the challenges it offers. During our walks on the Conero, we often see the more adventurous climb the paths that cover the mountain like a web.
