Italy Internet Access

Some options are available for Italy internet access, if you can’t keep your mind off the computer during your trip.

Part of the charm of a holiday is to be cut off from your everyday worries and activities but, if your during your trip in Italy you can’t or won’t keep your hands and mind off the computer, internet access is available in a number of Wi Fi hotspots.

If you decide to use a public internet point for surfing the net or using a fax machine, keep in mind that you will be asked for a valid ID like a passport or driving license. The document will be copied and the copy kept in the files of the shop.

This regulation was passed by the Italian government as antiterrorism measure few years ago.

When we feel computer starved we use the internet point at the information desk in Sirolo main square: you can surf for an hour if is not too busy, use the printer and the fax machine for a trifle.

At the IKEA bar in the outskirts of Ancona, you can comfortably sit and use your laptop while savoring a cappuccino.
